A lot of people think pain automatically means stop everything.

But that’s not always how the body works.

In many cases, especially with tendon-related issues, the right kind of movement and loading is actually what helps the tissue adapt and improve.

The key is understanding what your body needs and adjusting, not shutting it down completely.

That’s where the right guidance makes all the difference.

If you’re dealing with something and not sure what to do next, we’re here to help.

With HYROX right around the corner, most people are focused on training harder.

But this is also when your body starts to feel it the most.

Tightness builds, mobility can drop, and small issues can turn into something bigger right before race day.

Taking care of your body now can make a big difference in how you perform and how you feel going into the event.

Curious how to support your body leading up to HYROX?
Comment or DM RECOVERY and we’ll send you the details.

Most people think being consistent with their workouts is all that matters.

But when recovery gets ignored, that’s when tightness, nagging pain, and movement issues start to build up.

Recovery isn’t just for injuries — it’s part of staying active, training consistently, and taking care of your body long term.

That’s why we created our Recovery Program.

Want to see what it includes?
Comment or DM “RECOVERY” and we’ll send the details.

HYROX demands a lot from your body.

Between running, sled pushes, lunges, and high-volume functional movements, small mobility restrictions or strength imbalances can start to show up quickly during training.

A performance evaluation helps identify how your body moves, where you may be compensating, and what you can improve to stay healthy while preparing for race day.

Preparing for HYROX? Start with an evaluation at Unify Physical Therapy.

Martial arts athletes move differently.

Every grappler, striker, and competitor develops a style based on their body, strengths, and strategy. That means injuries are rarely one size fits all.

Patrick has trained Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for eight years and still competes. He understands the terminology, the positions, the demands, and the wear and tear that comes with the sport.

Too often, combat athletes are told to just stop training when they are in pain. That is not the answer.

The goal is to help you move better, build resilience, and stay on the mats safely.

If you train martial arts, you deserve care from someone who understands your sport.

Shoulder pain is not always straightforward.

During your evaluation, we identify what tissue may be involved. But sometimes rotator cuff irritation, labral issues, and other shoulder conditions can present very similarly.

That is where diagnostic ultrasound changes everything.

Instead of guessing, we can confirm exactly what is going on. That clarity allows us to guide treatment more precisely and adjust your plan in real time.

When we know what we are treating, progress happens faster.

If your shoulder pain has been lingering or not responding the way it should, it may be time for a more definitive answer.

Meet Pat, physical therapist and fellowship-trained orthopedic manual specialist.

With sixteen years of experience, Pat knows one thing for sure. No two stories are the same.

He has a particular strength in working through complex cases. The kind where the source of pain is not always obvious. Hip pain that actually stems from an old knee injury. Shoulder pain that connects back to the opposite hip. The body is deeply connected, and understanding those relationships is where real progress begins.

What Pat enjoys most is sitting down, listening, and creating a plan that is built around you, not a template.

If you are ready for a different kind of care and a true therapeutic partnership, this is the place to start.

Not all physical therapy is the same.

Advanced fellowship training is completed by fewer than 1 percent of physical therapists nationwide. That level of training strengthens clinical reasoning, differential diagnosis, and hands-on treatment skills.

For you, that means clearer answers, more precise care, and a plan built specifically around your body and your goals.

When you come to Unify, we do not just jump into exercises.

Every session starts with a thorough assessment. We look at joint restrictions, mobility limitations, muscle imbalances, and movement compensations that may be holding you back or increasing your injury risk.

First, we restore what is restricted.

Then we correct what is imbalanced.

After that, we build strength on top of a solid foundation.

Strength built on dysfunction only reinforces the problem. Our goal is to help you move efficiently, perform confidently, and reduce injury risk long term.

This is care built with intention.

Book your session when you are ready to build the right foundation.
