When I acquired Advanced Safety Training seven years ago, one thing stood out immediately: this company had already been doing safety the right way for a long time. Founded in 1994, it was built on real-world experience, not theory.
My role since then has been to build on that foundation — modernizing systems, expanding services, and helping companies use us as an outsourced safety and training partner instead of trying to juggle everything internally.
For many of our clients, we effectively become their safety department:
• Monthly site inspections and written safety reports
• Ongoing compliance support and follow-up
• Practical, in-person training tailored to their operations
Some of the most common training we provide includes:
• Lockout / Tagout
• CPR & First Aid
• Forklift operator training
• Crane and rigging safety
• OSHA training and recurring toolbox talks
After three decades in business, the lesson is pretty simple: good safety programs are proactive, consistent, and built around how work actually gets done — not just what’s written in a manual.
