Participants will be asked for 1oz of freshly pumped milk (not frozen). Enjoy refreshments provided by the birth center. Please contact me or the birth center if you have any questions. THANKS!

What is a Midwife? The modern midwife is a healthcare professional who undergoes thorough training in order to care for her clients throughout their reproductive years. A midwife provides personal, more intimate care than generally associated with a physician. She respects the natural process of pregnancy, labor and birth.

She uses both modern medical techniques and traditional practices to provide an environment that supports natural childbirth.The midwife maintains associations with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure that mother and baby have the best knowledge and technology available. "We offer home-birth as well as birth-center services to women and families across the Houston area. As your midwife, we look forward working with you and making this pregnancy special."
