A delightful cycle! We could flip the words to ungrateful and unhappy and have a not so delightful cycle. Don't forget to show gratitude for your body, too. I see clients practice gratitude towards the amazing things and people in their life, but they forget to thank their body, but your body is listening and picking up on that.
A few simple things that can help!
📒Journal a few of your favorite things (and people) and / or "count your blessing.".... Practice writing "thank you" notes in your journal if you don't know where to start. You can even do this for things that have not happened or things that you have not received yet.
🌞Time in the sun
🪴Grounding/time in nature
💃Movement, especially dance (stomping+shaking supports our nervous system, helps us complete cycle and return to parasympathetic)
🤗Seek joy- playtime!
🌅Meditation and prayer
🎁Yoga, stretching, stimulating vagus nerve
✨️Affirmations
A healthy diet reduced of inflammation, filled with healthy fats, protein and micronutrients (especially b vitamins) help from a neurochemical standpoint. Use of saffron, L- theanine, methyl factors, ashwaghadma, rhodiola, maca root, bacopa are also worth mentioning, but this is not a specific supplement recommendation/medical advice.
Dont forget that you can still want higher vibrational things, but still be grateful for what you have. Don't limit yourself ever by thinking you don't deserve more, but also don't limit your current reality by believing you don't have enough or you are not enough.
Lastly, there is no need to be perfectly grateful 100% of the time. Just be more grateful or let the notion seep into your consciousness until you are ready to let go of what you felt like was your shelter of safety.
I feel like I should sign off with light and love but but open for suggestions 🫠
