Center for Success and Beyond is having our 1st Annual Toy & Book Drive!

As you may know, Center for Success and Beyond is a Pediatric ABA Therapy agency servicing children on the autism spectrum, located in Southwest Houston.

This year we are beginning our annual toy and book drive. We will begin accepting donations today until December 20, 2022. All donations will be used directly with our clients.

Lastly, we want to thank the Houston community for their continued support!

LET’S TALK ABOUT REINFORCEMENT!

Reinforcement shapes how we behave and for this reason, it is the core of all ABA strategies! 🌱

To be “reinforced”, we know that the behavior will be more likely to occur in the future (hint: this works for increasing those positive behaviors!!)

ADDITIONAL TIPS to use while providing reinforcement:
•Provide Choices of Reinforcers: Prior to beginning a difficult task, ask your child/client what would they like to work for.
•Limit Access to Reinforcers: When reinforcers are not in use, remember to place them in areas that aren’t easily reachable, to maintain their effectiveness as reinforcers.
•Fade Reinforcement: When new skills are learned or improved, remember to slowly minimize the amount of reinforcement you give for that specific task.
