Today we celebrate Kathleen Crist, Executive Director, for her outstanding 25 years of service and commitment to HAPS and the broader Parkinson’s community. Kathleen’s unwavering impact and loyalty has elevated and shaped our local community in invaluable ways. An inspiration to others and the cornerstone of HAPS, Kathleen’s leadership is essential to the organization’s vitality and is the perfect blend of knowledge, heart, empathy, passion and enthusiasm. The heart of HAPS, her ability to make every member of our community feel seen and valued is her superpower.
Kathleen started her career as a social worker for HAPS and has remained a true champion for individuals with Parkinson’s. For more than two decades, she has supported clients directly and contributed her expertise by serving on key committees and advisory councils for various research initiatives. Her impact is felt daily, both locally and nationally, and her commitment to our mission and its people has helped HAPS grow into a home for thousands. Help us congratulate Kathleen on reaching 25 years in the comments below!

Team HAPS: Thank you for a wonderful 2025, from 5Ks to Proms to Sing Alongs. We can't wait for 2026 with you.

Should old acquaintance be forgot
And never brought to mind?
Should old acquaintance be forgot
In the days of auld lang syne?

For auld lang syne, my dear
For auld lang syne
We'll drink a cup of kindness yet
For the sake of auld lang syne.
