Today, we honor an American statesman - the Reverend Jesse Jackson. A witness to the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr., Rev Jackson was at the forefront of the Civil Rights Movement and the first Black man to seek a major party’s nomination for president. He was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2015, and then was changed to a diagnosis of Progressive Supranuclear Palsy in 2025. We remember his contributions to the United States and the Parkinson's community.
