Pearl Fincher Museum of Arts

Apex residents explored the world of art. Learning about abstract art and the artist. Some of the artists are high school students. The staff was amazing and they also have a program that works with your facility for monthly events. The staff was amazing and the best part is it’s free to visit with amazing items in the gift shop. Ending the trip with ice cream was the best !!

You may look and see” they’re making pizzas”. But I see,
hand and eye coordination, balance, focus, 5 sense working, determination, and a purpose. Each resident made their very own pizza and enjoyed every bite.

Did you ever as a kid walk alone beach line or ocean and look for seashells as a kid ? That was one of my favorite things to do. I would also put it up to my ear to hear the ocean. so we brought the ocean to Apex Oaks Cypress. We added a little creativity and imagination, and made it our own.

Our residents feel purposeful and know that where they are isn’t who they are. February was The 5 senses month. We ended it with a bang. Seeing a beautiful scenery,Smelling some BBQ, Hearing good music, Tasting different food, and feeling the excitement of yet another wonderful day.

What an experience!!! Today Apex Oaks Cypress visited the Funeral Museum. I know what you’re thinking ,….when you think of funeral museums we think of coffins. Well that’s just not it . Today we were able to learn the history of how they were made, the different forms of transportation that were used from the 1800’s until now, Presidents of the past, Celebrities, famous animals, even the Pope.
