A New Chapter for Shaping Little Minds: Our New ABA Clinic!
Hello Friends, Family, and Supporters,
We are incredibly excited to share some big news! After three years of providing dedicated, high quality, in home ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy, we are officially opening our very own ABA Clinic!
This is a dream come true for us, as opening a clinic will allow us to serve more families and offer a wider range of clinical services in a dedicated, supportive environment. We are so proud of the progress we've seen our clients make, and we are ready to expand our mission!
An Unexpected Opportunity in Spring, TX!
We have some thrilling news on the location front: a perfect clinic space unexpectedly arose for us right here in Spring, Texas! This space is ideal for therapeutic services and we just signed the lease! This sudden opportunity means we need to move quickly to secure and stock the facility to start helping families as soon as possible.
Understanding the Need: ABA Therapy and the Clinic Shortage
What is ABA?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a scientific, evidence-based therapy based on the science of learning and behavior. For children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ABA therapy is used to increase helpful skills and decrease challenging behaviors. It works by breaking down skills into small, teachable steps and using positive reinforcement to help children improve:
* Communication and language abilities
* Social skills and play
* Self-care routines
* Learning and academic skills
Our Critical Community Impact:
Unfortunately, the demand for ABA services severely outpaces the current number of clinics and providers in our area. Many facilities are completely overwhelmed, with families often facing waitlists that can last six months or more which is a critical delay during a child's most essential developmental years.
By opening our new clinic, we will immediately create a vital new resource in the community, helping to shorten these waitlists and provide timely, life-changing intervention to children who desperately need it. This is not just an expansion for us; it's an immense step forward for local families.
A Note on Asking for Help:
We are not typically ones to ask for assistance, but the opportunity to create this clinic for these amazing kids is too important. We are genuinely grateful for any way our community can try to give back to us and, more importantly, to the children who will benefit from this dedicated space.
Here's How You Can Help Us Secure and Stock Our New Clinic:
We're Looking for Donations of Items:
We are accepting donations of new or gently used items that are crucial for a stimulating and effective therapeutic environment:
Learning & Skill-Building Materials: Educational toys, puzzles, books, art supplies, and sensory items (e.g., fidgets, therapy balls).
*Comfort & Furniture: Small tables and chairs for children, comfortable seating for a parent waiting area, storage shelves/bins.
*Technology: I Pads (for data collection and learning programs).
*Movement: Equipment for motor skills (e.g., small trampoline, crash pads, soft tumbling mats).
If you have items you think would be a great fit, please reply to this message or call/text us at 346-574-2707!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for believing in us and the mission of helping children thrive through ABA therapy. We are so grateful for your support as we take this exciting next step!
With sincere gratitude,
Morgan and Ryan Hans
