As President of AORN Greater Houston Chapter I hosted my first leadership symposium and we truly had a blast. It was indeed an incredible day of learning, collaboration, and inspiration! Nurse leaders from across the Houston Medical Center came together to share insights, develop leadership skills, and cultivate the future of Perioperative nursing. From thought-provoking sessions to powerful networking moments, this symposium reinforced the strength and passion of our community.
A huge thank you to our speakers, Darlene Murdock, Dr. Danielle Quintana, Dr. Kai Lang, Cynthia Dempsey and our National President, Dr. Nakeisha Tolliver!! I’d also like to thank the symposium committee and all of the attendees who made this event such a success! Your leadership is what drives progress in our field.
