As part of a longstanding Alexander JFS tradition, we honor the accomplishments and tenure of our past presidents with the gift of a permanent piece of art for our agency.

In recognition of Carolyn Mintz Kaplan’s presidency, we were proud to select this beautiful work by artist Stef Ross represented by Laura Rathe Fine Art. The piece reflects Carolyn’s personal style and serves as a powerful reminder that under her thoughtful, nurturing leadership, our agency and the many lives she touched, truly flourished.

This artwork will hang in the JFS boardroom as a lasting symbol of our gratitude and as inspiration for future leaders.
Thank you, Carolyn, for your leadership, care, and lasting impact on Alexander JFS. 💙

January 27 is International Holocaust Remembrance Day; at Alexander JFS, remembrance is paired with action.

In 2025, we served 79 Holocaust survivors in our community, providing essential home-care services so they can remain safe, supported, and in their own homes with dignity.

Our partnership with the Sterling Survivors Fund, Kavod Shef, The Harvey Katz Holocaust Homecare Fund and the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany make these services possible.

We remember. We honor. We care.
