Houston Metro Urology was founded in 2006 as the result of a merger of several established practices in and around the city of Houston. Since the merger, Houston Metro Urology has grown to include Urologists, Radiation Oncologists, Pathologists, and Radiologists who collaborate across multiple locations to provide comprehensive care for men and women who are experiencing genitourinary conditions a

nd have concerns about their sexual health. In 2006, the practice opened a radiation therapy center for prostate cancer patients. The center, treating several hundred prostate cancer patients yearly, is well known for its advanced technology and state of the art cancer treatment. In addition, HMU provides the entire spectrum of urologic services.

Meet Our Team | Carl Ogletree, M.D.

Dr. Ogletree earned his undergraduate degree from Wright State University, his medical degree from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, and completed his training with a general surgery internship at University of Texas at San Antonio and a urology residency at University of Miami.

Specializing in a range of urologic procedures, including pe**le implants, vasectomies, UROLIFT®, transurethral surgery, and treatment for female incontinence, Dr. Ogletree believes that every patient deserves expert, compassionate, and respectful care. His approachable style allows for open conversations, leading to accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment plans.

Outside of the office, he enjoys making the most of Texas sunshine through water sports, fishing, and music.
