👻 **The Veil Feels Thinner:** Winter solstice just passed. Many spiritual traditions recognize this as a time when the boundary between worlds feels more permeable.

Christmas week is here, and if you're feeling the weight of it all—the expectations, the hustle, the pressure to be merry—I want you to know: that's completely normal, and you're not alone.

This season can stir up a lot. Joy, yes. But also grief, anxiety, overwhelm, and sometimes even paranormal activity seems to amp up (I've noticed it too! 👻). Whatever you're feeling is valid.

**Here's my gentle reminder for you this week:**

✨ It's okay to rest without guilt
✨ It's okay to say no to events or obligations
✨ It's okay to take breaks and breathe
✨ It's okay to ask for help
✨ It's okay to feel ALL the feelings

The holidays can feel like sensory overload—too much noise, too many expectations, too many *feels*. If you're feeling scattered or anxious today, here's a quick grounding exercise you can do right now:

**The 5-4-3-2-1 Technique:**

👀 Name 5 things you can *see*
👂 Name 4 things you can *hear*
✋ Name 3 things you can *touch*
👃 Name 2 things you can *smell*
👅 Name 1 thing you can *taste*

This simple practice brings you back to the present moment and calms your nervous system. I use it with clients all the time—it works because it interrupts the anxiety spiral and anchors you in *now*.
