As mentioned before, the beginnings of both the SARs virus and Corona virus originated from autumn season, relating to the metal element. The metal element is also related to the lung, which is why there are more cough and upper respiratory diseases in the autumn. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, there are five principle elements, metal, wood, water, fire, and earth. The universe and its people also share characteristics of these five elements. For instance, lungs are in the upper jiao, but the lung qi need to descend, similar to metal, which is heavy, and is sinking and needs to descend. These five elements are the basis of the universe, within our solar system, Jupiter is the wood planet, Mars being the fire planet, Saturn is the “earth” planet, Venus is the metal planet, and finally Mercury is the water planet. From the largest of the planets to the tiniest of virus, these all share the same basis of the five elements. To solve the issues human beings are facing with bacteria and viruses, first there needs to be an finer understanding of the five elements, their characteristics, and time of origin. After further studies of the element theory and how it applies to bacteria and viruses, then can there be a counter element to control the pathogen and the harmful effects on human beings.

More on how to counter control elements later.

Historically, pandemics are more devastating events than wars. Earth’s biological pathogens are ever present. Their resurgence is often related to the environment. Different climates, environments, will directly affect the characteristics of such pathogens. For instance, the current Coronavirus began in September of 2019, but reached its height of infection during December of 2019. The conditions are like that of SARs, which started in November of 2002, with similar climate conditions. The similarities are: these two pathogens were incubated during September but erupted at the end of the year and carried on to the beginning of the next during the spring. However, in the year 2020, there are even more yin and cold pathogens than before. Using ancient Chinese numerology for calculating the calendar year, 2019 is “hai” year, which is related to water, a yin and cold element. 2020 is the year of the “gen zi” and is similar to rushing water. In comparison, because the year of the “gen zi” is more turbulent, the current Coronavirus is even more severe than the earlier SARs virus. Due to the incubation of the virus being in the winter, a cold and yin season, the virus has also found a more yin and cold carrier. For example, these carriers can be bats or people with more yin and cold body constitution. According to The Lancet, one of the world's oldest, most prestigious, and best known general medical journals, in January 24, vice hospital director of Jin Yin Tan hospital in Wuhan, Huang Chao Lin et al. suggests that patient zero is a 70+ year old stroke patient. The patient started showing symptoms on the first of December. Due to his age and illness, the patient was already yang deficient and more susceptible to the Coronavirus.

More on this later.

Not feeling well? Eat light.
Are you sick? Eat light.
Recovering from a serious illness? Eat light.
Doctors often say this, but what exactly does "bland" mean? Many people go to extremes, equating a light diet with a long-term vegetarian diet, even oil and salt are afraid to eat.
If long-term vegetarianism, will lead to weakness, pale, easy fatigue, inattention, memory loss and other symptoms. Serious lack of nutrition, and even cause dementia, stones, osteoporosis and other diseases.
In particular, the elderly should pay special attention to nutrition. Eat fish, poultry, eggs and lean meat and other high-quality protein, to ensure that vegetables, fruits intake. Sugar and salt to control the amount, but do not eat a little more adverse to the body.
