NADC allows families and individuals to maintain a normal daily schedule, and is a cost-effective program to keep individuals in their homes by offering more hours of skilled nursing and daily activities in a social setting. Normally, adult day care is used to relieve the caregiver or his or her duties for the day while ensuring that the care recipient will still receive the proper care in a safe, friendly environment. These centers usually operate during normal business hours five days a week.​

Nixon Home Care, Inc. is a nonprofit Houston, Texas-based licensed Adult Day Care Center that specializes in providing supervision of seniors and adults with physical and mental impairments while their full-time caregivers work or take respite. We provide services from two locations. Our Houston facility is located at 3719 Lynnfield St., Houston, Texas, 77016. Our Shepherd facility is located at 931 N. Byrd Ave., Shepherd, Texas, 77371. Our hours of operation at both facilities are Mondays through Fridays from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. ASSISTED LIVING
An assisted living facility is a senior living option for those with minimal needs for assistance with daily living and care. It's purpose is to help adults live independently in a safe environment. INDEPENDENT LIVING
Independent living is ideal for individuals who can still live independently but enjoy having access to assistance when needed. Independent living communities provide their residents with convenient access to dining, medical care, entertainment and more. Our mission at Nixon Home Care, Inc. is to enhance the life of every person we serve. Through that philosophy, we have developed a continuum of adult care and adult living settings that provide people with a variety of compassionate and thoughtful care and living choices. When approaching the unique care needs and living situations of the individuals we serve, we strive to provide what they need to be comfortable in the environment of their choice.
