It was an exciting week! West Jefferson Medical Center went live in their new Nursery and Post Partum unit and East Jefferson General Hospital had the Ribbon Cutting for the new OR's.

One of my FAVORITE parts of projects is "go-live" day. This week East Jefferson General Hospital went live in their new expanded Emergency Department. One more phase of construction to go!

An amazing start to 2024!

Patients were moved from Tulane Medical Center to East Jefferson. EJGH has undergone a campus transformation, part of the initial $220 million capital investment being made by LCMC Health in its partnership with Tulane University.

About the Project: Surgical ICU, Neuro ICU, Transplant ICU, Bone Marrow Transplant Unit, additional Operating Rooms (including Hybrid and Interventional Pulmonology), Interventional Procedure/Cath, Emergency department, Resident spaces, Apheresis and numerous clinics are just a few of the areas included.
