I feel so honored to receive this sweet and thoughtful review from one of the residents at Jubilee! 🫶🏼

"Jessica is truly amazing. From yoga sessions and community events to sound baths and breathwork classes, she offers a wide range of thoughtful practices that genuinely support overall well-being. Her deep knowledge of nervous system functioning, combined with her compassion and empathy, creates a unique sense of safety, connection, and comfort in every space she holds.

I first met Jessica through the Jubilee community events she hosts and have since attended many of her offerings beyond that space. Each experience has been grounding, welcoming, and restorative. I highly recommend Chandra Yoga to anyone seeking spiritual wellness, emotional regulation, and authentic community." - Megan.

Join us THIS Sunday (February 22) at Jubilee for a FREE community Sound Bath & Breath Session, 11am-12pm (hosted indoors at the JoyHub).

This evening in my Yoga Class we returned to a heart–brain coherence ritual with rose oil...one hand resting over the heart, the other gently on the forehead.

After anointing the palms with a drop of rose oil, we closed the eyes and began to breathe slowly...steady enough to feel safe, soft enough to feel true.

Then we added a visualization to create a closed circuit of healing energy:

✨ Heart → Brain
With each inhale, imagine a warm, luminous current rising from your heart, like a golden thread or soft pink light, traveling up through the center of your chest, throat, and into the space behind the forehead. Let it bring compassion to your thoughts, tenderness to your inner dialogue, and spaciousness to the mind.

✨ Brain → Heart
With each exhale, imagine a cool, clear stream of light flowing back down from the brain to the heart, like moonlight or a gentle silver-blue wave, settling into the chest. Let it bring clarity to your emotions, steadiness to your heart, and calm to the nervous system.

🔁 A Closed Circuit
Continue: heart energy up to the brain, brain energy down to the heart...forming a continuous loop. A living bridge. A feedback system of love and wisdom, feeling and discernment. Each breath strengthens the circuit, each moment deepens your capacity to stay open without flooding.

It’s a simple, profound practice for those who feel called to hold compassion for what’s personal and collective while staying regulated, grounded, and connected to their center. 🌹🧠🫀🫶🏽

Happy Lunar New Year - Year of the Fire Horse

Fire Horse energy is courage + momentum: not rushing… just finally moving in the direction your nervous system can trust.

This is your reminder (especially if you’re the one who holds everyone else):
Release what keeps you braced.
Choose one steady action.
Let it compound.

Journal prompts:
Where am I over-explaining, over-performing, or over-carrying...when what I really need is safety and simplicity?
What’s one brave boundary that would bring me back to myself?

Simple ritual (5 minutes):
Light a candle. Place one hand on your heart, one on your belly. Inhale for 4, exhale for 6 (x7 rounds).
Whisper: “I lead with calm. I move with clarity.”
Then write down one thing you’re releasing + one grounded action you’ll take in the next 24 hours.

Today’s intention: I don’t abandon myself to be “productive.” I move with trust. 🐎🔥

DAY 3 - The Integration 🤍✨

This morning felt tender in the best way, like the kind of quiet that comes after something meaningful has shifted.

We shared our final meals together, lingering a little longer… savoring warm plates, sweet fruit, herbal tea, and the simple medicine of being fully present at the table. 🥗🍵
So much of love lives in these small moments...slow bites, soft eyes, shared laughter.

We moved into couples yoga...gentle, grounding, and connective.
Breath-to-breath. Heart-to-heart.
A closing practice to remind the body what it feels like to be supported… and to support with care. 🧘‍♀️💞

Then came Healing Touch...mindful, consent-led, and deeply regulating.
Hands became a language of safety.
A practice of giving and receiving without rushing, without fixing...just being with. 🤲🌹

As the retreat drew to a close, we gathered in a closing circle, a sacred space of reflection and love shares.
And to seal it all in, we returned to stillness with a final sound bath, letting the frequencies weave around every insight, every softening, every vow made without words. 🎶🌙

A moment to let the nervous system remember: love can feel safe.

We leave Sacred Union carrying more than memories...
we leave with practices, tools, and a felt sense of connection we can return to again and again.

To every couple who said yes to this journey:
Thank you for your courage, your tenderness, your laughter, and your love. 🤍

.
Today, I’m practicing the patience of the egret:
rooted, receptive, and ready.

There’s a quiet teacher I’ve been watching lately: a hunting egret.

Not the kind of patience that looks like waiting with clenched teeth…
but the kind that feels like trust.

It doesn’t hurry. It doesn’t chase.
It simply arrives, then becomes still.

An egret will stand in shallow water, poised and present, letting life reveal itself.
It doesn’t force what isn’t ready.
It doesn’t flail when nothing happens.
It doesn’t doubt its timing.

It watches. It listens. It breathes.
And when the moment is true, when alignment is real, it moves with precision.

That’s the lesson I’m taking into my own life:

✨ Patience isn’t passive. It’s powerful.
✨ Stillness isn’t stagnation. It’s strategy.
✨ Waiting isn’t wasting time. It’s refining your energy.

So if you’ve been feeling like you’re “not there yet”…
If you’re tempted to push, rush, or control the outcome…

Let the egret remind you:
Sometimes the most sacred progress happens in the pause.

Be present enough to notice what’s moving beneath the surface.
Be steady enough to hold your ground without anxiety.
Be discerning enough to act only when it’s truly time.

Because when you move from calm certainty,
even a small step becomes a clean strike.

Today, I’m practicing the patience of the egret:
rooted, receptive, and ready.

What in your life is asking for *egret energy* right now? 🪶💧
