👁️ How Often Should Adults Get Eye Exams?

Many people only schedule an eye exam when their vision gets blurry. But regular eye exams are important even if your eyesight seems perfectly fine.

Eye exams don’t just check your vision — they can also detect early signs of serious conditions like glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and even health issues such as diabetes or high blood pressure.

📅 General guideline for adults:

• Ages 20–39: Every 1-2years
• Ages 40–54: Every year
• Ages 55–64: Every 1–2 years
• Age 65+: Every year

You may need more frequent exams if you:
✔️ Wear glasses or contact lenses
✔️ Have diabetes
✔️ Have a family history of eye disease
