Laser technology targets the pigment in hair follicles. In this demonstration, notice how the darker balloons are the only ones to react —the laser energy is attracted to darker pigment. For very light blonde or gray hair, the laser does not work at all because there is no pigment for the laser to target. This is why laser hair removal is only suitable for hair with sufficient pigment—the laser cannot affect follicles without it.

Hi,

I'm Lyndsey Brantley, CEO of Camellia Alise LLC. I obtained my certification in medical aesthetics in 201 and launched Camellia Alise Skincare in 2016. I was also inspired to create Camellia Alise because I was a young woman battling with sensitive skin and razor bumps as symptoms of my PCOS and I saw many of my friends and family dealing with the same thing.
