This , we're celebrating one of our own. 💚

Kerry Beth Cottingham, LMSW, Director of Grants Administration, brings her social work values into every grant proposal, every funder conversation, and every strategy session — ensuring that the work we do for Houstonians is not only funded, but purposeful.

She leads the full grant lifecycle at Family Houston, translating our mission into measurable impact and helping unlock the resources that keep our Mental Health Counseling, Financial Stability Coaching, and Community Support Services going strong.

"I believe that social workers belong in every room where decisions are made."

This month and every month, we're grateful for you, Kerry Beth!

When Houston's therapists come together, great things happen. 💚

Our Senior Clinician, Jeffrey Rice, CSAT, recently hosted 'Industry Professionals Houston' at our Training Center — an afternoon dedicated to peer support and professional growth for Certified S*x Addiction Therapists across the city, featuring a Sandtray exercise led by Marcela Rodriguez, LPC, LMFT-A.

Thank you to Gina Kaye, M.Ed. and the Begin Again Institute for helping bring this vision to life. If you or someone you know could benefit from our counseling services, please visit familyhouston.org to learn more.
