Our Story

The Reconstructive Orthopedic Center (ROC) Urgent Care Program provides same day evaluation and treatment of unexpected or unanticipated musculoskeletal and nerve injuries. The program is unparalleled in providing comprehensive and immediate response to acute injuries on a walk-in basis. We accept transfers from outlying facilities that request our immediate assistance or directly into our facility as a walk-in. ROC-Orthopedic Urgent care Program treats all Non-Life threatening injuries the same day because injuries begin to heal the moment they occur. We provide 24/7 responses that allow surgical intervention the day of injury if indicated. Waiting for definitive treatment increases the risk of infection, the need fro more costly and difficult procedures and risks obtaining an otherwise excellent final outcome. The ROC - Orthopedic Urgent Care Program utilizes fellowship trained surgeons and support staff to provide treatment the moment you are injured. the efficiency of the program decreases the overall direct and indirect costs of being off work, pain and suffering, and not knowing who, what, when and where you need to go to be treated. Our fast-track clinic is open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday and we have on-call staff after hours and during weekends. TYPES OF INJURIES SEEN ROC sees all non-life threatening injuries that require immediate care. If the injury occurs after hours or is extensive, we admit to Park Plaza Hospital for Surgical Care. • TETANUS IMMUNIZATION UPDATE • DRUG SCREENING • BURNS • SPRAINS • REPAIR OF SIMPLE SKIN LACERATIONS (CUTS) • ANIMAL BITES • TENDON LACERATIONS • NERVE LACERATIONS • OPEN OR CLOSED FRACTURES (BROKEN BONES) • AMPUTATIONS • MICRO-SURGERY • MINIMALLY INVASIVE ARTHROSCOPIC AND ENDOSCOPIC PROCEDURES OUR STAFF SURGEONS: Board Certified, or Board Eligible, Fellowship Trained Surgeons in Orthopedic Surgery, Micro-surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. THERAPY TEAM: Certified Hand Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Physical Therapists NURSING: Highly Trained and Certified Registered Nurses, Medical Assistants, Radiology Technologists and Surgical Technologists CLINIC: Our clinic provides the latest equipment in Information Technology delivering accurate medical record documentation available immediately. Our No Delay Fast Track Treatment from Clinic to Surgery is available if necessary. SURGERY SUITES: Emergency surgery is provided the same-day without the hassles of going to an Emergency Room and waiting to be seen advanced arthroscopic surgical suites and microsurgical capacity allows us to treat all injuries that present unexpectedly. ROC THERAPY: A Full Service Therapy center providing Free Parking that is available after your acute injury has been treated. INSURANCE ACCEPTED Workers Compensation, most Private Insurance, Medicare. Self Pay Patients are offered a 50% discount if payment is made the day treatment is provided.
