When the family behind Griot Gardens decided to open in Houston, they trusted that Spring Branch was the right place. Located between communities familiar with Caribbean cuisine and those eager to discover it, the neighborhood offered the perfect balance.

That leap of faith turned an existing space into a new destination — one that now brings people together over food, culture, and shared experiences.

Stop by and experience it for yourself.

From day one, the community embraced something different — a place offering flavors many had been craving but couldn’t easily find. The feedback has been simple and powerful: thank you for bringing this here.

Long before Griot Gardens opened its doors, cooking was already part of Pricia’s story. What began as learning through trial, error, and help from neighbors grew into a passion rooted in love, resilience, and flavor. Each dish carries years of lived experience and a deep connection to culture — the kind of cooking that feels personal the moment it hits the table.

Griot Gardens serves traditional and vegan Haitian, Caribbean, and Latin cuisine, bringing bold flavors and heartfelt hospitality to Houston.
