Lately being,
Join in on my thoughts & downloads this morning: Everything is coming into alignment.
This feels like completion after years & years of practicing massage therapy, learning different services and body treatments, massage modalities, ANSOB is complete. Beauty has always been the inspiration for my practice. Over the years, I have learned and discovered through these trainings, my personal reading, & perfecting different ways to treat the body- are all harmoniously going within- for a real therapeutic feeling and freedom. We will now have possibly our last treatment on our menu. It’s a sauna experience.
I have learned through Ayurvedic medicine and Chinese medicine that warmth is Vital for our being. Vitality is circulation, it is the Prana (life-force) running through your body. It’s the rhythmic vibration of your body from your toes to the end of your hair. This is where your nervous system is encapsulated; it needs to be taken care of, and that is why therapeutic massage has always been the goal in all of my treatments. Little did I know at the time the word therapeutic really meant taking care of your nervous system.
In our sauna treatment, my goal is for you to shed what no longer serves you. Support your body by detoxifying, relaxing, renewing & revitalizing the mind and body. Warmth creates movement within this treatment paired with our scrub, stimulating the lymphatic system, filtering the toxins internally while externally shedding a layer, leaving you feeling like a new being. I think finding a healthy routine with our offerings is a great way to support your overall well-being. The scrub is a physical exfoliant made with organic ingredients—sugar and cold-pressed coconut oil by Conscious Coconut (https://consciouscoconut.com) .
After the scrub, we apply our oil blends. The Detox blend is made with charcoal, lemongrass and chlorella, purifying the body. Our Calming blend has chamomile, melatonin and magnesium to help soothe and rest your being. I hope you’re in a new state, you find peace, where your body can heal & your inner beauty can shine. It was always about this healing practice: The mind-body connection, because by now, we all know when your mind is at ease, your body can heal. When your nervous system is in a restful state, that is when your dreams can come to fruition. All of your manifestations can come through and your body can function at its optimal. These are just thoughts as I’m on my walk. And I want to be more present for you and I hope you find time and a pocket of freedom in your day to do something therapeutic and healing for yourself. I want to start this Someday state journal because that was the beginning of A New State of Being, an end of a beginning.🥀

The term Elemental is reigniting- I'm enjoying creating this last offering not only because I've waited over a decade to get my hands on the Sauna but because this treatment is very elemental. Combining water, earth, & air - I can only imagine this treatment grounding your being. Awakening the senses and invigorating your nervous system in a supportive way.
Lately, walking with Sonnie has helped make this vision so clear. Being in nature helps too, when the weather is nice - it's hard for me to stay inside. I signed up with To Be Magnetic (https://tobemagnetic.com) , also after years & years listening to Lacey's podcast. And wow, tapping into your inner child, finding your "authentic code," and what makes you, you, is so liberating. The Deep imaging (DI's) are audios in the App, I listen to them during the walks, and Me and Mikey enjoy them at night while in bed. One of the best things you can do these days is to find ways to calm your Nervous system. Take care.
