Today is the University of Houston’s 99th birthday! 🎈

On March 7, 1927, Houston Junior College opened its doors. 99 years later, that small junior college has grown into something extraordinary.

Today, UH is home to nearly 49,000 students and a worldwide alumni family that is over 349K strong. With one year left until our centennial, we’re more energized than ever to keep transforming lives and communities through education, research, service and innovation — right here in the heart of Houston.
