Breathing in the Day

Breathe.
Let the world move on without you, for a while.
There is no need to chase minutes,
or measure yourself by tasks.

Sit in silence.
Feel the pulse of your own heartbeat,
hear the gentle hum of life around you.

Savor your tea, your coffee,
the warmth resting in your hands.
Notice the pauses,
the quiet spaces between moments,
the stillness where nothing seems to happen.

Slowing down is not an absence of life;
it is life, lived more fully.
Moving gently through the hours,
we discover the beauty
in simply being.

Emotional maturity is the ability to hold space for someone else’s feelings without being triggered, (getting offended, angry, sad). It means listening with presence instead of defensiveness, and remembering that 9/10 times, it’s not personal - it’s simply their inner world asking to be seen. It’s one of the most meaningful gifts you can offer another human.

Some phrases that can help:
“I’m here to listen — tell me what’s going on.”
“Your feelings do matter.”
“Thanks for trusting me with this.”
“I can see this is really important to you.”
“What are you feeling right now?”
“I hear you.”
“Your experience is valid, even if it’s different from mine.”
“What do you need in this moment?”

Drop a 💗 if any of these resonate…

It’s much sweeter to follow your own path, even if the going is rough sometimes or if you aren’t exactly sure where you’ll end up. Keep going. ♥️ ~ Nanea

Life isn’t easy. All too often we look at social media and think everyone is doing so well so what’s wrong with us? You’re not alone. Let’s be real. There are times when we need to reach out and get help when life is too difficult to manage alone. My greatest joy is when I can help someone in need of help. Counseling is a way to look closely at how you feel and act and decide how you want to make changes to improve your life. I can help you with the following:

anxiety

depression

trauma in your past
