when we say we want love,
most of us don’t realize how
much growing that actually requires.
it’s easy to fall in love with a
fantasy… it’s harder to stay
connected to a real human being
who thinks differently,
feels differently, and
sees the world through
their own lived experience.
but that‘s what love asks of us.
