Some days, being a mom feels like you’d need the many arms of an octopus just to juggle it all. From waking kids, packing lunches, and rushing everyone out the door, to working a job, running errands, folding endless laundry, cleaning the house, cooking meals, helping with homework, shuttling to practices, and still trying to carve out time with your spouse—and even a moment for yourself—motherhood can feel overwhelming.

At Transformed Therapy, Christian counseling gives moms a safe space to lay down the weight, untangle the stress, and be reminded that you don’t have to carry it all alone. Motherhood doesn’t require eight arms—it requires support. Let us walk with you.

Healing doesn’t erase your story..it redeems it. The same place that once broke you can become the very place God uses to bless others. Isaiah 43:18–19 reminds us to “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!” As you step into this next season, focus less on how fast you’re moving and more on where you’re headed, because direction matters more than speed. Healing is a process of choosing small, intentional steps that align with who you’re becoming, not who you used to be. Create new habits, boundaries, and beliefs that reflect growth and grace. God is doing something new in you, right here and right now. Walk in freedom, live forward, and trust that every step in the right direction is progress.

Pain has a sneaky way of shaping how we see ourselves. Over time, we start believing things that simply aren’t true—thoughts like, “I’m not enough,” “I’ll never change,” or “I don’t deserve better.” Those lies get loud, especially when they’ve been replaying for years. But Romans 12:2 reminds us to “be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Healing starts when we begin to challenge those old beliefs and replace them with truth.
In counseling, we call this cognitive renewal—the practice of noticing your thoughts instead of letting them run the show. It’s learning to catch that inner critic and ask, “Is this what God says about me?” Most of the time, the answer is no. When a painful thought comes up, replace it with God’s truth: “I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I am chosen. I am being renewed day by day.”
Renewing your mind isn’t about pretending life is perfect—it’s about retraining your brain to agree with God’s perspective, not your pain. And when you start changing your thoughts, your emotions, choices, and peace begin to follow.

Shame says, “Something’s wrong with me.”
Grace says, “Something happened to me—but God is making me new.”

Healing begins when you see yourself through His eyes—full of compassion, not condemnation.
Romans 8:1 reminds us: “There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”

At Transformed Therapy, we teach that healing doesn’t come from self-criticism—it comes from grace. You are deeply loved, even as you’re still becoming whole. 🤍

Grief isn’t just about losing a loved one...it’s about losing anything that once mattered. Maybe it’s the loss of safety, trust, childhood innocence, or the version of yourself that existed before things got hard. Sometimes we move on too quickly, telling ourselves to “get over it,” but deep down, something still aches. Jesus said, “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted” (Matthew 5:4). That verse reminds us that healing doesn’t come from pretending you’re fine, it comes from letting yourself feel what’s real. In counseling, we often talk about how grief that’s never processed doesn’t disappear; it just hides in new forms. Writing can be a powerful way to start releasing that weight. Try writing a letter to your younger self or to the person who hurt you. You don’t have to send it, just let your heart speak. Say what was lost, what still hurts, and what you wish had been different.

Psalm 32:3–5 (NIV)
“When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. For day and night your hand was heavy on me; my strength was sapped as in the heat of summer. Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, ‘I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.’ And you forgave the guilt of my sin.”

We all get good at hiding what hurts. We smile through the ache, stay busy, or convince ourselves that what happened “wasn’t that bad.” But pretending doesn’t heal pain, it buries it. "When I kept silent, my bones wasted away… Then I acknowledged my sin… and you forgave the guilt of my sin” (Psalm 32:3–5,). God desires truth in the innermost being. He already knows what’s there, but healing begins when we’re honest enough to name it. Honesty doesn’t make the pain worse..it makes it visible, and what’s visible can finally be healed. In counseling, we see that shame loses its power when our story is spoken in safe spaces. Maybe that means opening up to a trusted friend, counselor, or mentor this week. Sometimes, simply saying the words out loud begins to loosen the weight you’ve carried in silence.

You ever notice how sometimes your emotions feel bigger than the moment? Someone says something small, and suddenly you’re angry, anxious, or hurt...and you’re not even sure why. That’s often what happens when old wounds echo into the present. The past doesn’t always stay in the past. It can show up in how we react, avoid, or protect ourselves today. Scripture reminds us: “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18). God isn’t distant from your pain, He draws close. He invites you to draw close, too...not to live in the hurt, but to understand it.
Start by noticing patterns. When a reaction feels heavy, pause and ask, “What does this remind me of?” Journal or pray it through. That simple awareness opens the door to healing. What feels like weakness may be your heart showing where it still needs God’s healing presence.

This week, we’re talking about something that’s real for so many of us—healing from the past. Because let’s be honest… most of us carry things we thought we’d moved on from. Maybe it’s words that still sting, memories that still surface, or patterns that keep showing up no matter how hard we try to change. Those past wounds have a way of echoing into our adult lives—shaping how we see ourselves, how we love, and even how we trust.
But here’s the good news: you don’t have to drag old pain into new seasons. Healing starts with feeling safe enough to be honest—with God, and maybe with someone you trust—and allowing your story to be seen and heard without shame. Over the week, we’ll walk together what it looks like to let God meet you right where it still hurts… and begin to find renewal, one honest, grace-filled step at a time.

In marriage, old hurts can get buried… but just as easily, they get dug back up. Every argument can feel like uncovering the same pain again and again, leaving couples stuck in the cycle of blame and regret.
At Transformed Therapy, Christian counseling helps couples stop digging up what’s broken and start building something new. With God’s truth and practical tools, you can learn to heal wounds, grow in forgiveness, and move forward together.

Don’t keep digging up the past—start cultivating a healthier future.

James 1:2–4
“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds,
because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.
Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”

Let’s be honest, no one enjoys struggle. When life gets hard, our first instinct is to ask God to take it away. But what if He’s using it to build something deeper in you? In counseling, we talk a lot about growth through discomfort. It’s rarely fun, but it’s often where the most transformation happens. James reminds us that trials aren’t punishments; they’re preparation. Every challenge stretches something inside you—your patience, your faith, your ability to trust when you can’t see the outcome. The struggle you’re in today may be the very thing that strengthens you for tomorrow. You may not see it yet, but He’s shaping
something steady, strong, and lasting within you.
