🎄 Festival of Trees: Tree Highlight 🎄

The Cardinal Tree ❤️🖤

This very intentionally themed tree was decorated by CareTeam Houston and is based on the Legend of the Cardinals.

"It has been said that when a cardinal appears, it is a gentle reminder of a loved one who has passed. Although they are no longer with us, they remain forever cherished in our hearts. The fond memories we shared, the love that filled our lives with them will never part."

The Care Team has partnered with Belmont to care for so many wonderful families over the years and wanted to find a way to honor them this holiday season. For that reason, each person they help care for at Belmont Village Hunters Creek is represented on the tree with a cardinal.

Votes for this beautiful tree benefit Bo's Place, a grief center for those grieving loss of a loved one.

Visit our community to vote for the Cardinal tree. Belmont will donate $2 for every vote. The winning tree receives an additional $500 donation.

Good morning happy hump Wednesday! Yesterday evening our Volunteer Coordinator Vanessa Ewing went back out to the VFW 9182 to present 7 officers with Certificates of Appreciation from our We Honor Veterans program. The veterans were all very grateful and didn’t know that a hospice company honors veterans . It was great that our VC went out a second time and to present the vets with awards. Vanessa our Volunteer Coordinator and our Marketer Keitha went to pay homage to veterans this morning at the VFW vet ceremony! We also met the Mayor of Katy William “Dusty” Thiele and State Representative of Texas Mike Schofield! This was an awesome event that VFW 9182 put on! Thank you, too the VFW Post 9182 for the invite today! Everyone have a safe and great 4th!
