This month marks a milestone I'm deeply honored to share with you: Restoring Hope Counseling celebrates 10 years of serving our Houston community.
In February 2016, I opened the doors to this practice with a simple but profound belief—that healing is possible, that hope can be restored, and that every person deserves access to quality, compassionate mental health care. What began as a solo practice has grown into a community of skilled clinicians across two locations in Champions/North Houston and Montrose, all dedicated to that same mission.
Today, as I reflect on this decade, my deepest gratitude goes to you—our clients—who have entrusted us with your mental health care, your stories, your pain, and your hope. Choosing to enter therapy takes tremendous courage. Choosing to return, week after week, to do the hard work of healing takes even more. You have honored us by allowing us into the most vulnerable parts of your journey, and we do not take that privilege lightly.
Whether you've been with us from the beginning or recently joined our practice family, whether you came to us during your darkest moment or in a season of growth, whether you worked with us for a few months or several years—you are part of our story. Every breakthrough, every moment of insight, every step forward you've taken has reinforced why this work matters.
Over these 10 years, we've had the privilege of walking alongside more than 2,831+ clients—children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families—through more than 34,000 sessions. We've supported our community through trauma recovery, relationship healing, grief, anxiety, depression, and countless other challenges. We've witnessed remarkable transformations and celebrated victories both large and small. Each one reminds us why we show up every day to do this sacred work.
As we look to the future, our commitment remains unchanged: to provide evidence-based, compassionate care that honors your unique journey and supports your path toward healing and wholeness. We're continually growing and improving our services to better meet your needs, while staying true to the values that have guided us from day one.
Thank you for being part of the Restoring Hope Counseling family. Thank you for your trust, your courage, and your commitment to your own wellbeing. It is our greatest honor to walk this path with you.
As we celebrate this milestone, we would love to hear from you. If you feel comfortable sharing how Restoring Hope Counseling has made an impact on your life or your journey toward healing, we would be deeply honored to hear your story. Simply reply to this email—your words mean more to us than you might imagine and help remind us why this work is so important.
Here's to hope, healing, and the journey ahead.
With warmth and gratitude,
Celeste

Connection doesn’t always require words. Sometimes it’s found in a hand held, a gentle touch, or quiet presence.
Sometimes healing begins with the smallest moments of connection.
In our newest blog, Vandi Nall explores how simple, supportive touch, like a hug, a hand on the shoulder, or a gentle pat, can help soothe the nervous system and strengthen our relationships.

Restoring Hope Counseling exists to RESTORE relationships and lives by bringing HOPE to your life.
Life has gotten hard and stressful and so very overwhelming. It feels like you have lost all hope. You feel like the anxiety you are feeling is overtaking your life, or your depression is so bad that getting out of bed each day feels like the hardest thing you can do.
I have always loved hearing other peoples stories, and then one day I heard my mom share a story of how she went through a very dark time in her life and how a counselor helped her through it. I was inspired to use my love of hearing other people share their life and stories with helping them to get through hard times and overcome the struggles that they encounter.
I also get it, I get the struggle that is out there. As someone who often also struggles with anxiety, I understand that we need some additional help going through things. We don’t need to do this alone. You don’t need to do this alone.
Life is hard, and sometimes it feels hopeless. But it isn’t. There is always HOPE.
Schedule a session today, let’s get you started on your path to peace and healing.
“Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my HOPE is in you all day long.” Psalm 25:5
