Sometimes healing begins with the smallest moments of connection.
In our newest blog, Vandi Nall explores how simple, supportive touch, like a hug, a hand on the shoulder, or a gentle pat, can help soothe the nervous system and strengthen our relationships.
In her latest blog, “Limbic Resonance: The Science of Emotional Connection in Therapy,” Cami Tisnabudi explores how our brains and hearts align in the therapeutic relationship — creating space for safety, empathy, and growth.
Celebrating life, love, and remembrance this Día de los Mu***os. 🌸
May we cherish the memories that bring comfort and keep our loved ones close to our hearts. 💜

This decade can bring major changes — new responsibilities, shifting relationships, and questions about your future. It’s normal to feel uncertain or overwhelmed. Taking just a few moments each day to pause and check in with yourself can make a big difference. Ask yourself:
✨ Am I getting enough rest?
✨ What emotions am I experiencing right now?
✨ Have I shown myself (and others) kindness today?
✨ Do my body and muscles need a stretch?
✨ Am I staying hydrated?
✨ Am I nourishing myself with regular, healthy meals?
Your mental health matters. 💚 Small daily check-ins can help you stay grounded and cared for.
And remember, if you need someone to talk to, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here for you.

Restoring Hope Counseling exists to RESTORE relationships and lives by bringing HOPE to your life.
Life has gotten hard and stressful and so very overwhelming. It feels like you have lost all hope. You feel like the anxiety you are feeling is overtaking your life, or your depression is so bad that getting out of bed each day feels like the hardest thing you can do.
I have always loved hearing other peoples stories, and then one day I heard my mom share a story of how she went through a very dark time in her life and how a counselor helped her through it. I was inspired to use my love of hearing other people share their life and stories with helping them to get through hard times and overcome the struggles that they encounter.
I also get it, I get the struggle that is out there. As someone who often also struggles with anxiety, I understand that we need some additional help going through things. We don’t need to do this alone. You don’t need to do this alone.
Life is hard, and sometimes it feels hopeless. But it isn’t. There is always HOPE.
Schedule a session today, let’s get you started on your path to peace and healing.
“Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my HOPE is in you all day long.” Psalm 25:5
