Adopting a new pet? Learn what to do in a pet emergency, including recognizing signs of distress and basic CPR response. If you’d like to learn these skills in depth, I’m also teaching a full Pet CPR & First Aid class on April 11.

Not only it’s our most compassionate duty with our Pets - but also it’s the LAW (Safe Outdoors Act): “To provide adequate shelter to protect pets from extreme temperatures, inclement weather”. Local animal control and law enforcement enforce are and will enforce this law. Report violations by calling 311 or non-emergency police.

*Puppy mills* pets are raised in cruel, deplorable conditions! Pets are treated as “mere objects” prioritizing profit over animal welfare, resulting in inhumane conditions. Lots of people still are NOT aware of these practices and sadly end up buying puppies from these businesses.
