I’ve been reading Invisible Women and it has me reflecting deeply on why women’s health education is so personal to me. 📖
Historically, society operated under the belief that there was nothing fundamentally different between male and female bodies — that men were the standard and women were just a variation of that standard.
Because of that assumption, women were left out of research studies. Our symptoms were minimized. Our pain was misunderstood. Even the way medical care was designed often didn’t account for our hormonal cycles, reproductive systems, or long-term health needs.
So much of what we experience… simply wasn’t studied.
And that’s exactly why I’m committed to doing this work.
I teach women and girls about their bodies because we deserve to understand our anatomy, our cycles, our options, and our power. When you know better, you move better — in your health, your confidence, and your decision-making.
If you’ve been wanting to learn more about your body in a real, safe, educational space — my next class is open for registration.
