All right everyone, the National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for our entire area until 6 PM this evening. The watch means that conditions are favorable for tornadoes or severe thunderstorms, so it also means there could be some straight line winds or hail along line of heavy rain that’s moving in. So, if you are at the rodeo, you will have plenty of time to enjoy yourself for the middle part of the day, but you need to be prepared to take cover as the storm system moves in, then head inside for a while, then a pretty decent chance you’ll be able to salvage the late part of the day into the early evening. Stay weather aware and keep an eye on your Fox 26 Weather app and on Fox local today.

What a fun thing to go watch tomorrow morning ☀️🌕

Set your alarms early TOMORROW morning, March 3! ⏰🌕

A total lunar eclipse aka a “Blood Moon” is happening early Tuesday morning, March 3 and it’s a good one.

For most of us across the U.S., the lunar show starts before sunrise with peak totality around the middle of the hour depending on your time zone. During peak, the Moon turns that deep copper red as Earth’s shadow completely covers it.

No telescope needed. Just step outside, look up, and give your eyes a minute to adjust. Clouds permitting, this one will be hard to miss! Drop me your pictures if you catch it!
