HEALED SCAR

1 year post-op, the scar healing beautifully 😍

I get many requests asking if I can show what my scars look like. This is a zoomed-in view showing a great result.

A scar takes 1-1.5 years post-op to reach its final appearance, so patience and diligent scar care is needed to produce the best results.

The truth is though, while most of my patients heal this way, not EVERY patient heals this way.

3 things lead to great healing of a scar:
1. Surgeon technique and closing the skin in multiple layers
2. Following post-op scar care protocol
3. Genetics (Some people’s scar genetically tends to thicken or darken more than others)

MOMMY MAKEOVER

A mommy makeover consists of a combination of a tummy and breast procedure usually.

In this case a Tummy Tuck (with lipo) + Breast Augmentation (using implants)

She is 6 weeks post-op and looking lovely!
�I went with 450cc implants to restore lost volume after pregnancy. This also enhanced her upper breast fullness and enhanced her cleavage. I was able to avoid a breast lift for her which was a definite bonus!

She also wanted improvement to the appearance of her abdomen- specifically the loose skin and the bulging of her abdomen from the muscle separation. Love her natural tummy tuck appearance!

LIPO360/BBL 😍

A beautiful result for my beautiful patient!

Love the hourglass shape achieved here and the natural look to her 🍑

Patient is ~ 8 weeks postop here. At this point, the fat transferred should remain stable long-term as long as she maintains her weight. The fat behaves like fat anywhere in your body, so losing weight can lead to more fat loss.

LIPO360/AB ETCH- NO BBL

Sometimes all you need is lipo! Lipo alone helped accentuated her 🍑 and give her the look she wanted! No fat transfer was done anywhere 👍🏼

LOVEEE the natural ab definition I was able to get for her, giving her a toned/athletic look! Even with a previous pregnancy and some mild loose skin on physical exam, her skin contracted very well and she ended up with an excellent result! 😍

TUMMY TUCK

This beautiful patient is 3 months postop from her tummy tuck with lipo. She’s loving her results and we are too!

I was able to fix her muscle separation which was creating bulging in her abdomen, and removed the extra loose skin she had from her pregnancy.

CHISELED TUMMY TUCK

Only ~6 weeks postop here and healing so well! Most patients at this time still have noticeable swelling however she is healing extremely fast!

This beautiful mama came to me to restore her pre-baby body back. She had loose skin and muscle separation that required a tummy tuck.

TUMMY TUCK SCAR AND BELLY BUTTON

This patient had a tummy tuck with me and 1 year later wanted to get a BBL done.

This is the on-table result of her lipo360/BBL procedure showing her abdominal result. As you can see here, her scar has faded very well and her belly button looks so natural!

I was able to enhance her ab definition as well with an ab etch.

When patients ask me what would be better to do first: a tummy tuck or a BBL, usually a tummy tuck is best performed first to set the foundation for the lipo360/BBL later, however there are certain situations where I prefer to do the lipo360/BBL first, like in patients that don’t have much fat to harvest and the surgeon needs to harvest as much fat as possible

FAT TRANSFER BREAST AUGMENTATION

No implants were used here! I used fat obtained from lipo to enhance the breasts here. (Lipo 360 was done here to extract the fat).

I was able to improve on a lot of her asymmetries that she had between her breasts by placing the fat in specific locations to symmetrize them better. This is something that implants aren’t able to do to this degree.

One negative of fat transfer is that results can be unpredictable. On average, we can obtain ~1 cup size increase, however in certain cases, less than that is maintained, that’s because some of the fat will absorb (on average ~30-40% of the fat placed will absorb).

These results are ~6 weeks postop. At this point results should remain stable as long as you are maintaining your weight post-op (fat behaves like fat anywhere else, so if you lose weight, you may lose additional fat in the breast area too!)

Remember, results are variable between patients based on a number of factors including starting breast size, the skin’s ability to expand, how much fat absorbs, how the patient maintains their weight, and surgeon technique!
