Recently, every time we see a picture of a Kardashian on Instagram, shes either holding or standing next to a detox tea. ☕️💁🏻‍♀️⁣

But do they actually work? ⁣

Well, Detox-Teas claim to “cleanse your body” and cause significant weight loss.⁣

If you try them, you WILL feel a lot slimmer because, ⁣

- they contain high levels of CAFFEINE, which acts as a Diuretic, removing water outside the body through urine 💦 ⁣
-⁣
- they contain LAXATIVES that loosen your stool and make you 💩 more! ⁣

So basically, you will get a flat stomach for a couple of days, but you wont see any real loss of fat, YOU WILL ONLY LOSE WATER WEIGHT! ⁣

So forget the tea, reduce your bathroom visits, and save em $$$ ☕️💸💰⁣

Soooo why don’t I recommend it? ⁣⁣⁣

Well, CALORIES ARE NOT EVERYTHING. ⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
Cocopops contain more than double the amount of sugar, and when you START your day with a big amount of sugar, it will make you CRAVE MORE SUGAR THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE DAY! 🍫🍰🍬🍭⁣⁣⁣

My advice? Add unsweetened cocoa powder to your milk , and then have the plain cereal! You will still get the chocolatey taste with no cravings to follow!💃🎰⁣⁣

1. Leave the lentil soup for a few days a week, and go for another healthy, lower calorie alternative like vegetable or vermicelli soup! 🍵⁣⁣

2. Be careful of adding too much oil to your fattouch! 1 teaspoon will be enough! Finish your dressing with adding 0 cal ingredients like lemon juice, vinegar, or even mustard! 🥙🥗⁣⁣

3. Skip the ramadan juices! Have most of your iftars with water, homemade sugar-free lemonade , or even home-made iced tea! 💧⁣⁣

Before you do that, I’d like to let you know that your Nescafe has almost the same amount of calories as a labne sandwich. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
☕️The nescafe? Just a high calorie drink rich with sugars that will open your appetite all day long.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
🥪The sandwich? Well its a balanced source of Carbs and proteins, vital to keep you energized and full throughout your day! ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
My advice? Make your own low cal Nescafe yourself, with only 2 tsp of fat free powdered milk, and a tsp of sugar (30 Cals in total) AND HAVE THE SANDWICH TOO! 💪🏻💁🏻‍♀️💁🏻‍♀️ ⁣
