Not sure whether to see a Physical Therapist, Chiropractor, or Massage Therapist?
I hear this question a lot, so let’s clear it up. These three professions actually work best together, not instead of each other.
Think of it as a recovery team.
Chiropractors
Focus primarily on joint alignment and spinal mobility. Adjustments can help restore movement in joints that aren’t moving properly and reduce pressure on the nervous system.
Physical Therapists
Focus on rehabilitation and movement retraining. They help strengthen injured areas, restore stability, and teach your body how to move correctly again after injury or surgery.
Massage Therapists
Focus on soft tissue and the nervous system. We work with muscles, fascia, and tension patterns that can restrict movement, cause pain, or pull joints out of balance.
Muscles and fascia often tighten to protect an injury. When those tissues stay tight, they can limit healing and even affect how joints move.
That’s where therapeutic bodywork can help support the recovery process.
The best recovery plan often includes all three.
Alignment, rehabilitation, and soft tissue work each play a role in helping the body return to healthy movement.
If you’re dealing with pain, injury, or chronic tension, building the right team can make a huge difference in how quickly and fully your body heals.

Fight, Flight, Freeze, or Fawn… Which One Are You?
Most people think their reactions are personality traits.
But many of them are actually nervous system survival responses.
When your brain perceives danger, it activates ancient protective wiring designed to keep you alive. The problem is… trauma, chronic stress, and unresolved emotional experiences can keep these responses running long after the danger is gone.
So instead of responding consciously, we react automatically.
Here are the four most common patterns:
Fight
You become defensive, argumentative, controlling, or quick to anger. Your system believes power equals safety.
Flight
You stay busy, overwork, overthink, or constantly plan your next move. Your nervous system believes safety comes from staying ahead of danger.
Freeze
You feel stuck, numb, overwhelmed, or unable to make decisions. Your system hits the pause button because everything feels like too much.
Fawn
You people-please, over-give, avoid conflict, and abandon your own needs to keep others happy. Your nervous system believes safety comes from keeping everyone else calm.
None of these mean something is wrong with you.
They mean your nervous system learned how to survive.
But survival mode isn’t where you’re meant to live.
When you learn how to regulate your nervous system, these patterns stop running the show. You gain the ability to pause, choose, and respond from your higher self instead of reacting from survival.
That’s exactly what we work on inside my R.E.A.L. Strategy Foundations Beta Program.

I’m more than a massage therapist. I’m a nervous system specialist.

Yes, I work with muscles and fascia, but the real transformation happens when we calm and regulate the nervous system. When your body is stuck in fight-or-flight mode, it holds onto stress, trauma, tension, and pain.
