🤍
Graduation day from Bellevue School of Massage, 2008… excited, nervous, and completely unaware of what the next 18 years would ask of me. I had a vision in my heart, but no real understanding yet of the resilience it would take to build what has now evolved into Pause Wellness Spa and Massage.
The road has been winding and some times bumpy (to say the least). There were studio moves, uncomfortable pivots, financial pressure, fear, and self-doubt. There were seasons of seeing 6-7 clients in a day, pushing through physical fatigue, learning how to care for my own body while caring for everyone else’s. I’ve had to set boundaries that felt risky. I’ve had to choose sustainability over burnout. I’ve had to grow into leadership and become more embodied in my work outside of just my skills, a cultivated presence around what it means to be a massage therapist.
“Let the beauty of what you love be what you do.” - Rumi
Eighteen years later, Pause is the embodied result of every long day, every hard conversation, every refinement of the craft, and every time I recommitted to the vision of investing in myself and my business.
Being nominated for Best Massage Therapist and for Pause to be nominated for Best Day Spa for ‘s ‘Best of the 405’ feels especially meaningful because it holds all of that history. Please consider voting for me through the link in our bio. 🫶🏻
Grateful for everyone who’s been part of the journey.
Peace and blessings,
Cammie
