✨It is important to surround ourselves with people who uplift and support us. One-sided relationships can drain us both emotionally and mentally and it’s not fair to constantly give without receiving. It’s time to let go of toxic friendships and normalize the idea of friends becoming associates. This doesn’t mean that we have to completely cut off these people from our lives (you be the judge of that), but rather acknowledge that the friendship may no longer be serving us in a positive way. It’s okay to prioritize our own well-being and surround ourselves with people who bring joy and positivity into our lives. Remember, true friendships are built on reciprocity: mutual respect, support, and love.

Who is like God

Oxytocin is our brains natural love drug. Your body naturally releases through connectedness. For example, cuddling, QT, bonding, etc. So much Oxytocin released in this moment. Cuddling with this sweet boy releases so much oxytocin through my body and God knew I needed it. My husband saw me loving on Micah and he reminded me of the meaning of baby Micah’s name, which is “Who is like God”. He said, every time you hold him, let it be a reminder of who is like the Lord, meaning there is no one like God no matter the circumstance or situation. Trusting God even when I can’t trace Him!
