Staying informed and staying activated are not the same thing.

Awareness is spacious. It can hold complexity, sit with uncertainty, and not need to resolve everything immediately.

Outrage narrows everything to a tunnel. Us and them. Right and wrong. No room for what's actually true.

Outrage on a loop doesn't build clarity. It builds numbness dressed up as awareness.

You can care deeply about what's happening without being consumed by the reaction to it.

That's not indifference. That's the beginning of something useful.
