College Station Urology is proud to be performing some of the very first MRI-fusion prostate biopsies in Bryan/College Station.

For men faced with a high PSA result, they often are given the option of a biopsy. While many times this is a good course of action, random biopsies can miss a prostate cancer that deserves treatment leaving the patient and physician wondering what to do.

The future of prostate cancer diagnosis lies in MRI imaging to find dangerous cancers and then a fusion biopsy in which those images are combined with a real-time ultrasound image allowing the Urologist to biopsy the area of concern.
