Crunchy, holistic skincare practices that I stand by.. Because what’s wrong with aging gracefully?⁠

Did you know fillers don’t decompose? That Botox can have neurological effects? And breast implants can cause autoimmune issues? ⁠

As someone who struggled with decade-long health issues that’s going to be a hard NO from me.⁠

I also highly recommend may clients steer clear from these types of “beauty enhancers.” Becuase there’s no telling how it could be affecting your hormones, periods, and fertility! ⁠

Here’s what I do to naturally support my skin:⁠

1. Hydration with minerals. I also love hydrogen water!⁠
2. Red light therapy. I’ve been doing this consistently for 6 years & it’s made a huge difference. I recently got a red light mask and it’s been so convenient!⁠
3. Serum collagen peptides on my face daily & I drink about 2 scoops of collagen daily. ⁠
4. Vitamin C antioxidant serum daily + SPF⁠
5. Monthly holistic treatments. I rotate microneedling & BBL. Every quarter I pair microneedling w/ PRP.⁠
6. Matcha in the mornings for antioxidants. ⁠
7. I do get sunlight on my face in the early morning without sunscreen, but after that I wear a hat & spf.⁠
8. I’ve recently been adding facial tape for my forehead & I’m loving the results! ⁠

Just because you got your period does NOT mean you ovulated.⁠

But if you’re not trying to get pregnant, does it even matter? Absolutely! ⁠

Here’s why:⁠


Ovulation is necessary for more reasons than just reproduction? Like progesterone production, estrogen detoxification, heart and brain health, energy levels, libido, and a healthy menstrual cycle⁠!⁠

THIS is why it’s so important to always track ovulation metrics on a monthly basis.⁠

Here are 4 ovulation metrics to track monthly ⬇️⁠

✅ Cervical fluid- When you’re close to ovulation, your cervical mucus will look and feel like an egg white. It’s stretchy and thin. ⁠

✅ Basal Body Temperature- Check your BBT every morning. There are many fertility apps to help you do this. I personally use Read Your Body. Every morning when you first wake up, before doing anything, take your temperature. Once you’ve ovulated, your temperature will slightly increase and remain elevated until menstruation. Alternatively, you can use (like I do), which tracks your core temperature while you sleep and syncs with your phone in the morning. ⁠

✅ LH strips- Luteinizing Hormone spikes a few days before ovulation. When an LH strip shows positive, you can expect to ovulate a few days later. *Note: females with PCOS might have several LH surges throughout the month, so this might not be an accurate way of determining upcoming ovulation.⁠

✅ Physical Sensations- Some women actually feel a sharp twinge in their o***y when the egg is released during ovulation.⁠ Pay close attention to any sensations around the time you expect ovulation.⁠

Before you drop thousands on IVF or other fertility treatment, ask yourself: Have I optimized my fertility first?⁠

Have you checked for:⁠
✔️ Autoimmunity?⁠
✔️ Low-lying infections?⁠
✔️ Thyroid imbalances?⁠
✔️ Male factor issues?⁠
✔️ Gut health + nutrient deficiencies?⁠

Here’s the truth: I don’t believe in unexplained infertility. That diagnosis often just means no one has looked deeper. And when it comes to egg reserve, quality matters more than quantity.⁠

In 2025 alone, 2/3 of my fertility clients (all over 35!) conceived healthy pregnancies, many after failed IVF, multiple miscarriages, and being told they’d never conceive naturally.⁠ And there is still time for the remaining 1/3! ⁠

O⁠ver the years, I’ve had countless clients come to me feeling defeated after multiple failed IVFs and IUIs, each one costing $20K–$30K (or more). And every time, I see the same problem: glaring gaps in their fertility testing ⬇️⁠

So many women in their early 40s are told the same thing when they ask for help with perimenopause symptoms…

👉 “Let’s put you on birth control.”

But here’s the truth:

Hormonal birth control doesn’t ease the transition into menopause- it shuts down ovulation completely.

And ovulation isn’t the enemy.

Each time you ovulate, you produce nourishing progesterone and estrogen that protect your brain, heart, bones, and metabolism long term.

The pill (and the Mirena IUD) contain progestin — not progesterone. And they are not interchangeable.

Perimenopause doesn’t need to be suppressed.
It needs to be supported.

There is a better way to transition into menopause feeling strong, clear, and grounded.

These foundations lay the most important groundwork I need to thrive. And since I’m in perimenopause, I do also take bio identical progesterone as no amount of supplements or diet changes can restore lost hormones in perimenopause.

Hormone balance is not about perfection or spending tons of 💰 on supplements (although I do use smart supplementation with my clients but I don’t rely or start with them).

The key to arriving to a place of hormone balance & healthy periods & fertility is by integrating tiny daily detox & nervous system support sprinkled throughout your day so your body knows it’s safe & so your body can efficiently let go of endotoxins & waste efficiently.

This is not a “go big or go home” strategy. This is an organic & sustainable life plan that is soft, gentle & nurturing.

I’d rather you do 5 minutes of mindful breathing a day than one 30-minute breathwork session each week. Your body will respond better to daily movements sprinkled in your day like post meal walks, rather then 2-3 long sessions at the gym each week. Cool if you can do both though!
