March is Brain Injury Awareness Month, and this offering is truly from the heart. 🤍
On Saturday 3/21 from 2–3:30pm, we’re hosting a special adaptive yoga class for individuals who have experienced a traumatic brain injury (TBI). This class is all about slowing down — breath awareness, guided meditation, and gentle, accessible movement to help calm the nervous system and rebuild confidence in the body.
We’ll move intentionally with seated + standing options, frequent pauses, and plenty of modifications. No experience needed. No pressure. No “right” way to practice. Caregivers and support persons are warmly welcome.
Led by Jamie Lim, with adaptations demoed by her mom Debbie (a stroke survivor), plus healthcare-trained support in the room, this is a safe, supportive space to honor healing and resilience.
