We’ve had five Zoom calls and a full weekend together, and somehow it already feels like family. She’s written us poems and letters that were honestly profound—wise, emotional, and full of depth beyond her years.
What moves me most is this: after walking through more hardship than most adults ever will, she still smiles. She still jokes. She still hopes. She still believes in people. And despite everything, she still wants a family. If that isn’t resilience—if that isn’t restored trust—I don’t know what is.
Ask yourself… would you feel the same if you had been abandoned so young?
(If you’re comfortable, share your thoughts in the comments.)
As Olivia transitions into our home, our goal is to surround her with love, comfort, and a sense of belonging. If you feel led, we’ve put together a small Amazon wish list for her. But even more meaningful than gifts are words—if you decide to help out, please write her a message. She lights up when someone speaks life into her.
Thank you for helping us make her feel welcomed, valued, and supported.
Be a part of her story.
