Objectives

• To provide a safe, supportive, structured environment as the women develop and recover from the effects of toxic relationships and domestic violence.

• To provide classes, support group sessions and one–on–one counseling and coaching, all to educate and equip the women as they focus on their spiritual growth, personal development and life management skills to aid in recovery from Domestic violence and Intimate partner violence.

• Offer regular scheduled workshops, empowerment and leadership seminars, to show positive female role modeling and help women to set and reach their goals to heal, restore and rebuild theur lives from trauma and crisis situations.

• To increase the public’s awareness of Domestic Violence and Intimate Partner Violence and that problem it affects women of all economic and sociological backgrounds.

• To organize fundraisers and community service outreach projects to promote the wellness and empowerment of survivors and families affected by domestic violence.

• To provide support and services to churches, civic, and women organizations as they attempt to assist survivors. Keys to Success

Speechless, Emotional!! What an incredible blessing! 🙌🙌👏👏Today we were ecstatic to receive the news that Hope Center was delivering 150 toys and it turned out to be over 400 toys for our Christmas Toy Extravaganza!!!

Super thanks to Pastor Brandon Barber, Kaela Arrington of Hope Center HTX. Thank you so much, Michael Aldridge l for always thinking of us advocating for our cause and making sure you , we got the toys delivered.

As we celebrate our 21st Anniversary, your generosity has once again saved the day, for the second year in a row! 👏👏💯💯Hope Center, your kindness, compassion, and unwavering support will forever be remembered and appreciated. A few years back, Fresh Spirit received a heartbreaking call to help a family who had lost their beloved brother, son, and father, Mickey, to domestic violence.

This was our very first male case that ended in loss of life due to domestic violence. We supported the family through every step of their journey, counseling, and legal advocacy and all the way through to justice, when the wife and mother received 50 years in prison.

We never let go of them, and they never let go of us. We have stayed connected with Mickey’s family over the years, even honoring them at one of our Legacy Awards as we celebrated his life and legacy.

Just a few days ago, after posting that we needed more bikes for our toy drive, I received a call from his sister, Kim DeVaughn ready to help. Look at God!! 💜 Out of tragedy, God still brings connection, compassion, and community purposes!
