Send us a 500-word essay and be a current member in good standing. The Scholarship Committee will review the application and announce the winners on March 15th! According to the Kids’ Meals Houston website, Houston ranks as 5th in the US for children living with food insecurity. That means 1 out of 4 pre-school aged child is unsure of when or where their next meal is coming from. Kids’ Meals Houston provides over 7,000 healthy meals to one of Houston’s most vulnerable population.
As part of our ongoing community outreach efforts, during our September meeting, attendees decorated brown paper bags to donate to Kids’ Meal Houston. They use over 6,000 bags daily to prepare and deliver meals in!
