A lot of people do not realize a plastic surgeon helped make transplant history.

In 1954, Dr. Joseph Murray performed the first successful living donor kidney transplant between identical twins, changing medicine FOREVER. His work in reconstruction, grafting, and microsurgery helped make that breakthrough possible.

Plastic surgeons have been driving innovation far beyond aesthetics for a very long time. 🤍

Put down the dry brush. Cellulite is NORMAL. It is part of anatomy, not a flaw, and not something you caused.

Most creams and miracle fixes do very little, and social media has convinced way too many women that normal bodies need fixing.

Even as a plastic surgeon, I think the little imperfections are part of what make us US. 🤍

My take? Plastic surgery should NEVER be about feeding insecurities.

I respect the honesty it takes to speak openly about an experience like this. What is not okay is how cruel people can be online. There is a REAL person behind every post, photo, and decision.

And one major red flag? Going in for one procedure and leaving with a laundry list of extras you never asked for.

A good plastic surgeon should help you reach YOUR goals, not create new insecurities to sell you more.

More kindness. More honesty. Less judgment. ALWAYS. 🤍

You do not always need surgery to see a real difference.

Sometimes the BEST results come from smaller, non-invasive treatments that give you the subtle change you are actually looking for, with less downtime and less intensity.

The best plan is the one that fits YOUR goals, not the biggest procedure. 🤍

Moments like this are why skin removal is about so much MORE than appearance.

For many post-weight loss patients, excess skin is not just cosmetic. It can cause discomfort, rashes, and make everyday movement harder. But it also represents a brand new chapter.

It is not just about how someone looks.

It is about finally feeling FREE in the body they worked so hard for. 🤍

A good plastic surgeon is NOT going to say yes to everything.

Sometimes the most honest answer is no!

This is elective surgery. SAFETY comes first. Ethics come first. And the right surgeon will protect your outcome, even if that means turning the procedure down.

The best consultations are not about selling surgery.
They are about making sure it is actually RIGHT for you. 🤍
