In keeping you and our staff teams as safe as possible, DermSurgery Associates has implemented screening of all patients as well as equipping our teams with the recommended protective barriers when treating patients. In addition, we are pleased to announce that many of our providers will participate in Telederm appointments. Telederm appointments are covered by Medicare and most private paying insurances during this pandemic. Please check with your office to determine if your doctor will be participating.
We are happy to offer our patients the option of making a telederm appointment instead of coming to the office. This allows our physicians and physician assistants to conduct a virtual appointment with you to diagnose and treat troublesome conditions using your cell phone or ipad during a set appointment time with your provider. Some conditions that may be discussed in this way include: acne, rosacea, rashes, spot checks, prescription refill requests & follow ups.
For those who are at risk or isolating, this is an option that allows us to help you while you remain safe.
Our offices are open for in-office visits and surgery should you require treatment that cannot be provided with a telederm appointment. We will offer same day biopsy and surgery should you have a skin cancer that needs treatment.
Please reach out to our offices for more information or to change your appointment to a telederm appointment. Please keep in mind that some treatments cannot be provided via telederm, however, we will do our absolute best to assist you in these uncertain times.
Yours in good health,
The Team at DermSurgery Associates, PA
