Ever heard of an internal bra or mesh with Breast Augmentation or Breast Lift?👇
Currently there are two on the market: Galaflex and DuraSorb
• Galaflex- made out of suture material and takes about 2 years to absorb and incorporate into your tissues. This gives you a more robust support system.
• DuraSorb- takes about 9 months to absorb and is a little bit softer.
There are pluses and minuses to choosing each one depending on each case and patients needs but overall, both are a great addition to a mastopexy or ‘breast lift’ to provide additional support and maintain a higher, perkier look for longer in cases where the patients skin lacks stretchy tissues, has a lot of weight on their breasts or to reposition and revise a previous surgery. This is also a great option for those wanting bigger implants!
