Full Circle Healing Massage & Bodywork

Full Circle Healing Massage & Bodywork Safe space here. Covid, diversity & inclusion safe that just happens to have a solid deep tissue. Covid safety is a top priority for me. Not 50 minutes.

ABOUT FCH
Since 2015, Full Circle Healing Massage & Bodywork, LLC has been one of the best places in Houston to receive therapeutic massage with an element of relaxation. I tailor each client's experience per their needs using a versatile range from Swedish to Deep Tissue techniques, Massage Cupping & IASTM modalities and Pin & Stretch as needed. Tending to focus mainly on Myofascial Release providing longer term relief, improved performance, recovery and quality of life. I also offer Scar Work, Prenatal, Craniosacral Therapy, Facial Cupping, Theragun and Lymphatic Drainage. Masks are required by both therapist and clients. Lots of focus has gone into the room set up in this regard also with attention to things such as air flow & ventilation. Intake, waiver & prepayment required prior to appointment. I am also triple vaxxed.

60 minutes is 60 minutes. You pay for an hour of bodywork. You will receive an hour of bodywork. (Sessions may be shortened per late arrivals.) I do not try to upsell you at every appointment but I will on occasion gently remind you that receiving consistent bodywork improves quality of life. We keep up with maintenance on our cars and homes but often will neglect our most important asset, our bodies. Gift cards, packages and memberships available. MISSION STATEMENT
To teach people that often physical pains and restrictions are not simply a matter of aging. We do not have to accept that. But that it is a matter of time and what we do with it. That a consistent self-care routine including massage therapy truly can improve quality of life. To teach clients about self-care tools that can be used in between sessions to accentuate the work we do in session as well as to provide access to those tools. To keep people active and doing the things they love. Taking care of family, business and community starts with taking care of self. ABOUT THE PRACTITIONER
Jessica graduated from Health Masters School of Massage Therapy in 1999 and has been licensed since 2000 and practicing full time since October 2012. She views healing and the things that impede it, such as chronic pain, from a more holistic viewpoint. She is interested in the full picture of things that may keep us in pain, such as trauma, emotions, past injuries that can often all be connected and intertwined. She enjoys the progressive healing aspect of receiving regular massage & bodywork as consistent maintenance and the improvement it can have on overall quality of life. Jessica has learned invaluable knowledge of therapy from her own injuries and traumas and the processes to recover from them. She thoroughly believes in practicing what she encourages her clients to do such as regular massage, Reiki, chiropractic adjustments and counseling as well as being sure to incorporate meditation, stretching and healthy movement along with nutrition into her vegan & cruelty free lifestyle. One of Jessica’s greatest strengths is her ability balance the element of relaxation while also making sure the client leaves feeling as if they had some good solid work done. The versatility in her tool box of modalities and natural intuition are her secret weapon. She will sometimes say that she just feels and follows because the body will often tell you more than the mouth will. On a more personal note, she enjoys reading, writing, dancing, especially with a hoola hoop, moderating her local online vegan community on Facebook, probably indulging in a little too much social media, eating all the vegan food, expanding her knowledge, getting lost in music and hanging out with her fur baby Nucky. I also offer vegan coaching and hula hoop fitness classes if you would like to learn. Either in my yard or at Emancipation Park or Elizabeth Baldwin Park. Weather will be a factor. Take care of yourself in the midst of all the evolution we are experiencing. I am posting videos with instructions on how to use them on (novice) You Tube. Channel is called Full Circle Healing Journeys. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBjYnlh6E3-g3zondyVhI3Q?view_as=subscriber

September is national su***de prevention month.
Always pulls at my heart strings for many reasons.
I have lost someone as well as had my own struggles. Some pains just never really go away.
It is crucially important to let yourself know how important your well being is to yourself to counteract the many times the outside world can lead you to feel less than so.

Do your best to get enough sleep and hydration.
Be mindful of being around any company that does not contribute to bringing out your best.
Make intentional effort to spend time with those people that do.
Smother your furbabies with love and receive the love they give to you.
Eat lots of healthy, nutrient filled meals.
Meditation or breathing exercises.
Strength or mobility therapy.
Massage, bodywork and mental health therapy.
Some of the basics to help keep us even keeled in the body and emotions to support us through the moments we don't feel so strong.

Also in those moments, know that we are all doing the best we can with what we've got.
And that's ok.
So eat the pizza every so often.
Drink the wine, eat the gummy.
Dismiss the alarm, sleep in sometimes.
Don't be so hard on yourself.

The following are not my words. They are the words of Dr. Alicia Jackson of Analog Earth Healing Hubb- Holistics You should definitely schedule an appointment with her asap. 😉 We are in the last quarter of the year and this is some spectacular advice for maximizing on your goals before the new year arrives.
I am a day late sharing but all still applies.

"Today is September 1st—the start of a brand-new month, a symbolic turning of the page. And since it’s Labor Day, I hope you’re working as little as possible and letting rest be your medicine.

September is a month of transition. It ushers us closer to the Fall Equinox, shorter days, cooler air, and more time spent indoors. With less daylight, our mental and emotional bodies feel the shift: energy dips, grief resurfaces, and sometimes depression creeps in as we miss loved ones or reflect on where we are in life. This is natural, but it’s also a call to deepen our self-care.

Here are a few gentle ways to self-soothe and sustain your energy:

Lean into movement: yoga, walks, dance—anything that helps you stay connected to your body.

Nourish yourself: warm teas, mineral-rich foods, and daily hydration.

Keep your mind and heart open with journaling or meditation.

Stay consistent with therapy or trusted support spaces—don’t wait until you feel overwhelmed to reach out.

The Lock-In: Sept 1 – Jan 1

This season also brings what many are calling “the lock-in.” From today through the start of the new year, we’re being invited to lock in on our goals and daily habits—focusing on consistency, not distraction. This is about spending less on things outside of us, and investing more in what grows us from within.

Imagine what could shift in 90 days if you…

commit to your therapy sessions,

make yoga or gym time non-negotiable,

read something nourishing daily,

and hold yourself accountable to the checklist that moves you closer to your dreams.

I’m locking in with you. I have projects that need my full attention, and I’ve been tracking my daily practices to stay aligned. This lock-in is my opportunity (and yours too) to tighten up, refocus, and prepare for what’s coming.

🌍 Themes of the Coming Months

We’re entering a cycle of change and rising costs—from utilities to everyday living. This isn’t about fear, but about wisdom. Adjust your spending, prepare your pockets, and simplify where you can. Let awareness be your shield so you don’t feel blindsided.

This is also the time to examine habits that no longer serve you. The things that drain your energy can intensify into addictions or relapse if left unchecked. Self-actualization—knowing your own weak points and protecting yourself from them—is your strongest ally.

And let’s be real: therapy will be more important than ever. It’s the nudge that keeps you on track when you’re about to slide into old patterns. It’s the space that reminds you of who you are and what you deserve. Don’t skip the work—it’s easier to unpack along the way than to try to unravel months of weight in a single sitting.

For perspective: I’ve had clients that are now consistent with me for 14 years. Together we’ve navigated breakups, marriages, careers, grief, new ventures, and self-discovery. That consistency is what allowed them to rise.

As we step into September, let’s lock in together. Less distraction, more devotion. Less fear, more focus. Less labor, more life."

And today, Sept 2nd is World Coconut Day! I would also like to recommend a small business in my neighborhood The Doshi House My current favorite menu item is the Tropical Tide, add extra coconut cream!

After all of that, lock in your next bodywork session with me!

There are many facets to wellness.
Physical, mental and emotional wellness
Social, financial and environmental wellness.
There are also many ways to support all of your wellness needs.

My #1 recommendation is of course a good massage.

Schedule yours today!

Here are some more solid ways to support your wellness needs:

*Get Moving: Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate exercise each week. This can be things like brisk walking, swimming, or cycling. Start small and work your way up.

*Eat Healthy: Focus on whole, nutritious foods like fruits, veggies, whole grains. Limit processed foods, added sugars, and salt.

*Get Good Sleep: Most adults need 7-9 hours of quality sleep per night. Try to go to bed and wake up at the same time each day.

*Hydrate. Drink plenty of water. Your body is made up mostly of water. Water is important to help your body do its job.

*Get regular preventive exams. This includes seeing your doctor and dentist regularly.

*Practice Mindfulness: Do activities like meditation, deep breathing, or journaling. These can help reduce stress and anxiety.

*Connect with Others: Spend time with friends and family. Joining a support group or community group can also help you feel connected.

*Seek Support: Don’t be afraid to talk to a mental health professional if you’re struggling.

*Try a New Hobby: Doing activities you enjoy is a great way to meet new people and expand your social circle.

*Balance Work and Life: Set boundaries between your job and personal life to prevent burnout and make time for social activities.

*Create a Budget: Track your income and expenses to see where you can cut back or save more.

*Pay Down Debt: Make a plan to pay off high-interest debt like credit cards or loans.

*Build Savings: Try to save 3-6 months’ worth of living expenses in a savings account.

*Get Organized: A clean, organized living and workspace can reduce stress.

*Spend Time in Nature: Connecting with nature, even a little, can be good for your mental and physical health.

*Be Eco-Friendly: Recycle, reduce energy use, and choose sustainable products.

*All airborne cootie precautions still in place.

Working Out The Issues In Your Tissues

Jessica graduated from Health Masters School of Massage Therapy in 1999 and has been licensed since 2000. She maintained her license without practicing for 12 years, as she knew healing work was part of her path, but only began practicing full time when she began a healing journey of her own. As she learned to heal herself, she was better prepared to help others heal. Jessica views healing and the things that impede it, such as chronic pain, from a more holistic viewpoint. She is interested in the full picture of things that may keep us in pain, such as trauma or emotions while focusing on the things that bind such as connective tissues especially fascia.

She enjoys the progressive healing aspect of getting regular massage and the improvement it can make on quality of life. Jessica has learned invaluable knowledge of therapy from her own injuries and the process to recover from them. She thoroughly believes in practicing what she encourages her clients to do: She receives regular massage, Reiki and chiropractic adjustments, as well as being sure to incorporate stretching and healthy movement and diet into her cruelty free lifestyle. One of Jessica’s greatest strengths is her ability balance the element of relaxation while also making sure the client leaves feeling as if they had some work done. She often incorporates Swedish, deep tissue, cupping, hot towel treatment, hot stone therapy, aromatherapy and stretching as needed or requested.

Being able to use her compassion combined with a healing touch to be able to relax the body and rejuvenate the soul is the driving force behind her work. On a more personal note, she enjoys writing, hula hoop and belly dancing as well as hanging out with her furbabies at home. She is currently taking the EEDC (Emancipation Economic Development Council) small business course and is an active member of the BNI Eado - First Class Referrals, holding the massage therapy chair.
