You do not have to earn your rest. Showing up for others also means you are being responsible about how you show up for yourselves

You definitely cannot give others what you cannot give yourself.

New year and healed you! Time does not heal all wounds. Healing from trauma in therapy does not mean we forget what happened or that you have to leave it in the past. Having a healthier relationship with yourself creates a domino effect in loving yourself and creating the life you want.

Sometimes healing means realizing…it’s not always them sometimes, it’s me. And it’s okay for me to change. 👀

💬 Taking accountability is not about blaming yourself. It’s about listening to yourself.

💬 It’s slowing down enough to notice what your emotions are trying to tell you.

💬 It’s honoring the boundaries you’ve been afraid to set, and paying attention to the patterns that are quietly asking for change.

Take a moment this week to:

🌿 Speak gently to yourself.
🌿 Offer comfort instead of criticism.
🌿 Do something that once brought you joy even if it’s small.

Healing begins when we stop judging our younger selves and start listening to them.

💬 Comment below: What’s one thing your younger self needed to hear more often?

If you are constantly questioning your purpose, Feeling like you're not enough, or Overthinking how others are going to see you then it's time to get connected with a licensed mental health therapist.

The licensed mental health therapist at Me, Myself and Healing Counseling specialize in giving our clients tools and a space to overcome Imposter Syndrome.

** Imposter syndrome is that internal voice that whispers,
"You're not good enough," even when your achievements prove otherwise. It often develops when perfectionism, fear of failure, or comparison take over.

Over time, these feelings can trigger defense mechanisms like overworking, procrastination, or withdrawing from new opportunities as a way to protect yourself from feeling “vulnerable" or "exposed.”
