That’s the heart of real healing…being fully seen and still accepted. 💭
Whether it happens in therapy, friendship, or love, there’s something powerful about being able to drop the mask and know you’re safe. Most of us spend our lives trying to earn acceptance when what we actually need is a space where we can just be.
That’s where the work begins. 🌿

Sometimes people forget therapists have whole personalities outside the therapy room. I laugh too loud, kill most of my plants, love comic books, and still believe in the magic of human connection. 💫
I thought it’d be fun to share a few things about me that don’t always come up in session but still shape the woman I am. Healing work isn’t just what I do. It’s who I am. 🌿
Now it’s your turn…tell me one fun or random fact about you in the comments. 👇🏽

People assume that being good at helping means we don’t struggle, but that’s never been the truth. We cry in silence, we process in private, and we carry stories that stay long after the session ends.
We are trained to hold space, but sometimes that space gets heavy too. Healing work requires heart work, and that includes our own.

So many women mistake silence for strength when it comes to desire. 💭
We were taught to bury what makes us feel alive and call it discipline. ✨
Exploring your sexual desire isn’t rebellion, it’s reclamation.
For many women, especially in minority communities, shame was stitched into our story before we ever spoke our first “yes.”
It’s not about seeking validation. It’s about returning home to your body, your spirit, and your truth. ❤️🔥

I didn’t just speak at TEDx… I showed up for every woman who’s ever been told her pleasure was too loud, too much, or too complicated. 💋✨
That stage became my mirror and my liberation.
I stood in my truth, shared my story, and reminded every woman in the room that pleasure and power can coexist.
One of the lines that still sits with me is, “When women learn to receive pleasure without guilt, we stop performing and start living.”
This moment will forever remind me that speaking truth isn’t just brave, it’s healing.

Dr. Angela Jones strongly believes that “you are the answer you’ve been searching for”. This belief has become the founding principle of her therapeutic work. She wants to serve as a teammate in the therapeutic process that guides you through the journey of self–exploration, reconnection and learning to truly live with a purpose. Her therapeutic approach focuses on problem–solving and healthy choice selection. Together, you and her will explore ideal solutions and create a step by step plan to make each solution a reality. Individuals experiencing feelings of physical and emotional disconnection make up the majority of her clientele; however, she also specializes in behavioral health, stress management, value/goal clarification. Additionally, she’s well versed in the areas of relationship and sexual concerns, more specifically, problematic sexual behaviors, and sexual identity.
