A big thank you to the amazing team from SLB for coming out to support The Women’s Home!

They led engaging Microsoft Excel and Presentation Skills workshops for women in our Residential Treatment Program. These sessions help our clients build confidence and strengthen the practical workplace skills they need as they prepare to reenter the workforce.

Several clients shared how helpful the sessions were, and one even said she now feels much more confident using Excel after the workshop. Moments like that show the real impact of community partnerships.

We are truly grateful for SLB’s time, expertise, and commitment to supporting the women we serve. Thank you for investing in their success!

We would like to extend a special thank you to our Board Member, Karen Ostrum George, for generously providing tickets for our residents to attend the Rice Owls women's basketball game against the Tulsa Golden Hurricane women's basketball team from the University of Tulsa.

It was an exciting matchup and a wonderful opportunity for our residents to enjoy a fun evening out in the community.

We are so grateful for Karen’s continued support and thoughtfulness in making opportunities like this possible.
