This week is Administrative Professionals Week, a time to recognize the important role our administrative team plays in keeping our operations moving and our teams supported.

We want to acknowledge our Admin Support staff.

Your work is essential to the day-to-day function of The Women’s Home, and we appreciate the consistency and support you provide across departments.

As with every role here, we remain committed to continuous growth, strengthening our skills, and elevating how we support the mission.

This week is both a moment of appreciation and a reminder of the impact strong administrative excellence has across the organization!

Thanks to our partnership with Second Servings of Houston and the dedicated volunteers from the WIMOs Association of Houston, The Women’s Home recently hosted a Pop-Up Grocery Store at the WholeLife® Service Center.

Together, we were able to bring fresh, healthy food directly to families in the Spring Branch community.

The Faces of Change: Her Story is Houston’s Story committee recently toured the impactful murals all around downtown Houston.

A standout moment was visiting the mural of a woman holding a child, which serves as a reminder of how local food shortages disproportionately impact children and women first.

At The Women’s Home, we prioritize meeting these fundamental needs of food and shelter so our residents have the security to focus entirely on reclaiming their stability.

Afterwards, the committee attended the Bayou City Art Festival to continue celebrating the intersection of creativity and community advocacy.

Be part of the legacy. Support Faces of Change: Her Story is Houston's Story by donating below.
