Congratulations to our very own Chiamaka for successfully completing the United Way of Greater Houston’s 10th Coffee & Quality Learning Cohort (Winter 2026)! 🎉

The focus of this cohort was learning and growing in the area of storytelling with data through data visualization.

Through this experience, Chiamaka strengthened her ability to translate data into meaningful stories that drive impact, collaboration, and better outcomes for the communities we serve.

Volunteers assembled 100 thoughtfully curated care bags for our residential clients.
They are filled with everyday essentials and small comforts to support rest, self-care, and well-being.

Paws for Therapy is a group of volunteers in the Houston area who enjoy sharing their trained therapy dogs with those in need of love and comfort.

They come every Monday afternoon to visit with the clients and staff.

The clients love interacting with them, which helps calm their nerves and ease anxiety, and it truly brightens their day.
